Marketing Manager

Nucleus Scientific seeks a talented Marketing Manager to join a growing team as the company prepares for public launch out of stealth mode during Fall 2018 under a new brand identity. The successful candidate will work closely with a new Chief Commercialization Officer with the direct input of the executive team and general engineering support. The Marketing Manager’s primary role is to promote the story of the company’s product internally and externally to build the company’s reputation and drive sales by means of various publication tools.

 

Responsibilities

Launch & Beyond

  • Work closely with departmental heads and external agencies to ensure and implement consistent brand deliveries across all channels.

  • Manage branded collateral.

  • Oversee publication of company website, creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials.

  • Collaborate with branding, PR, business, and engineering teams to generate relevant content in timely manner.

  • Manage marketing vendors, spending, and budget.

Social Media

  • Create and manage rich content that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including whitepapers, product videos, reports, infographics, social media, etc.).

  • Monitor and engage in relevant discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.

  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

Analytics

  • Establish closed-loop analytics with business development to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.

  • Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for the company. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management, preferably in the hardware/tech space.

  • Experience in developing and executing integrated new business, cross-sell, upsell, and retention campaigns.

  • Enthusiastic about working closely with engineers and R&D teams

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.

  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS). You will be expected to build product pages, optimize the conversion paths on those pages, and use dynamic calls-to-action to create and test buyer stage-specific calls-to-action.

  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring the product to life.

  • Highly organized and able to maintain tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in web analytics software and keyword tools.

  • Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization.
